LG4 engines
When I start from 0 mph, and wot, before it hits 2nd gear, the rpm's go up to only 3000 rpm, then switches gears around 40mph and barely catches 2nd gear rubber, then revs uip to 3200 and switches to 3rd at aroudn 60mph. Is that really poosy? If it is, is it because my engine is mainly stock?

I would suspect that the throttle valve cable is not properly adjusted. It should shift somewhere around 4800 rpm at WOT.
