i was gonna buy an 89tta but deal feel through.now i'm thinking of a 4.3 turbo.does anyone have any experience with these motors?seems a better swap since the motor mounts are production smallblock mounts and the tranny bolt pattern is the same keeping the 700r4 tranny in there.does anyone know if they still make the syclone/typhoon intake?painless should be able to make a harness and the ecm is still available from gm.throw your opinions in here looking around for ideas.thanx

 

the 4.3 won't bolt up to the f body k member, you need to relocate the motor mounts. there is no headers made that bolt up.

well considering he wants a TURBO.... hes gonna have custom headers anyway~

 

There used to be one around here. Guy tried to sell it on the park-n-sell lot. It sat for about a year. Unless you found a Syclone or Typhoon 4.3 with all the crap it wouldn't be close to worthwhile. Not to mention that unless you did some significant suspension mods the car would never hook up.
