400 into 89

OK, so I'm very sorry if this is a repeat.

I have a 400 from a 79 Formula.

I have a base model 89 Firebird !!!!!!!WITH AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!!!

Obviously I'm going EFI-carb.... no problem.

HERE'S THE QUESTION:
Will it fit? What kind of mods am I looking at? Crossmember? Suspension?

Please lemme know, summer project & all. Don't wanna start something I can't finish.

if you mean a sbc 400 then you just drop it in and be done no mods needed but i would suggest goin with poly motor mount bushings due to the added weight and especially if your building a high HP motor

That's not a small block Chevy. Its a Pontiac or Olds V8. Not a "bolt in" swap. If its a Pontiac, there's a sticky up there that explains whats involved. You'll have to determine if you can finish it.
