Upgrade Lifter and Push Rods
Upgrade Lifter and Push Rods
Alright im pretty sure i have a lifter tick. I have to re-due the intake manifold gasket anyways so while im doing that im gonna do the lifters and push rods. I have a 5.7 Carb.
Give me some opinions on good lifters and push rods to put in there?

What year is the 350 block? Do you know what cam and lifters are in there now?
What heads? Before you go changing lifters and pushrods, make sure there isn't anything amiss under the valve covers such as an adjusting nut backing off, or rocker stud pulling out, or rocker damaged (I've had all three happen to me).
Also, I always had lifter tick when I adjusted my lifters 1/2 turn down. Went away completely when I adjusted them to the factory 1 turn down.
