305 swap to a 327
I just swapped my old wore out 305 for a 327. I had the block bored 40 over with flat top pistons, replaced the crank with a 10 under steel crank, replaced the old intake with a eldelbrock preformer and a eldelbrock 650 carb. I also replaced the old exhaust with Hedman headers and true dual exhuast. I am wondering what kind of hp and torque I am going to produce.
Im hoping more 350+

what cyinder heads/cam combo are you running?
fyi, performer intake is a stock replacement manifold...and you went backwards going to the edelbrock carb.
hp...based on info i know...maybe 280 flywheel hp

Re: 305 swap to a 327
I am running 305 416 heads with i've had them port and polished I have a 282 duration .534 .555 lift cam doug herbert but I have to get ride of that i can't get it to idle in drive and don't have the money for a 3000 rpm stall converter. I am running an electric fuel pump so I can boost the gas going to the carb I know it's a stock replacement manifold but I was on a tight budget building this motor i wanted 350 at the fly wheel any secrets to helping that with what I have and what cam shouldI go with?
