Need Help connecting a hose? Not sure where it goes.

1991 Camaro RS 5.0 305 TBI Auto

Okay i found a hose that is completely disconnected from everything and its sucking in air.(hiss noise)

I Suspect that the hose goes somewhere on the EGR Vacuum solenoid on top of the canister purge? but i am not completely sure.

Here are the pictures, if anyone could reply with a picture of their set up it would help a ton any info is appreciated.

There are 3 things in that area that take a vacuum line.

1) the evap canister in your pic
2) cruise control - if your car had it, the switches are on the turn signal stalk
3) the vacuum ball, or 'orb' - it's under the evap canister - you have to get to it from underneath the car - remove the plastic piece under there and you'll see the ball - it's about 7-8 inches around and black - it 'stores' vacuum for your heater controls which use vacuum to open/shut the doors to change which vent air blows out of.

Regardless of anything, you either need to get it connected where it's supposed to go, or get it plugged, as it's a vacuum leak that will make the car run poorly. You can just stick a screw in the end to seal it until you get time to find it's 'home'.
