help 383??? opinions for next step

I have a 383 that is getting near the end of its life and i want to either rebuild the 383 i have in it now which is just an older high nickel block or buy a new shortblock

which would be more cost effective?

Costs probably won't be that much different either way, assuming your existing components are in good shape.

Yeah how tired is it? Just need a rebore/piston package and new bearings and call it a day? Or would you want to do rods/pistons/crank?

Does the block have a rebore left in it?

If you bought a new shortblock would it be a aftermarket block setup? IF so go with more inches.
