i bought a 92 firebird with no motor that was set up for a carbbed 350 but im not sure how all the wiring works. Does anyone have a wiring diagram as i would like to use stock key and stuff to run this motor.
Also what is a good carb to go with? It will be a street strip car wont be adding boost or nitrous just stock for now but probly adding cam and rockers and some stuff like that.

Get to where you want to be. I'd say you don't have to go over 65-750 CFM.
Lots of good carbs out there pick one.

go pick up a haneys manual about $20 or try and find it online its very simple there is your ignition wire which goes frm your key to your starter on the small terminal then you have your battery wire that goes on your big terminal along with a wire in your harness that runs your accessories on the car(i.e lights indicators, etc.) and a wire that gives you 12v when the key is on for your distributor to keep your car running along with the grounds that will just bolt to the back of the block. im not sure if it isa stock wiring harness or someone made yours but if it is stock the wires that go to your starter are red for the big terminal a black battery wire that goes to the big terminal and a pink wire that goes to your starter on the small terminalOriginally Posted by hartman
