knock sensor ?

? To start with i have an 5speed 84 z28 that ive pulled the h.o. carb'd 305 out of and im workin on installing a gmpp 350/290hp in and use it as my daily. anyways my question is: ive decided to get rid of computer controlled carb dizzy and the emmisions equip. and gonna run a 670 holley, what I want to know is since im no longer using the ecm do I still need to run the knock sensors? all answers appreciated and if anyone has any other ideas that would aid in my swap that's also appreciated Thanks Guys

You don't need a knock sensor without an ECM.
