Looking for a vented gas cap for my third gen transam? Any Ideas - part numbers?

Do you already have a gas cap on it? If so just drill a tiny hole in it and save yourself some money. Thats what I did and it works great! Much cheaper!

Or grab one for a 1984 carbed 3rd gen car - they were vented.

Same part numbers for the 1985 Transam which is non-vented

I have to ask, on my 91 Z28, I have a seemingly common issue where pressure, or vacuum gets built up in the tank. Why is this... Is there a tank vent that gets clogged over time? GM wouldn't design the cars overlooking this would they?

All the fuel injected cars with the intank electric pumps gets pressure buildup, it's normal.
