LG4 to L98 question
I have a complete LG4 with the harness and all that came from an 86Z that I stripped (couldn't be helped). I was planning to use it in a new project, but now I have a line on a 89 L98 block and heads. Can I use the intake/carb from the LG4 on the 350 with center-bolt heads? Did some searching and it sounds like the ports might not line up. Any truth to this? TIA

The ports line up. The center two intake mount bolts on each side are at a different angle on the later heads.
You can either buy a different intake for the '87-up application (http://www.summitracing.com/search/D...s/?Ns=Rank|Asc), or elongate the mount bolt holes in the '86 intake manifold.

Re: LG4 to L98 question
Thanks for the quick response! In keeping with the spirit of my low-budget build, I guess I'll modify the existing intake.

The nice thing about the Professional Products piece is it will fit either type. It would be nice if those bushings were available as a separate kit.
