Turbo LT1 383!
I have in my 87 bird a 383 w/ forged internals. Its an 87 roller block so it has the one piece rear main seal. I like the lt1's fuel system and its reverse cooling especially for running boost. Its going to be a few months until i start the build, but im doing my research now.
The question is, for the LT1 build, how much of my sbc internals will swap over to the lt1? I know ill have to buy some aftermarket heads again, but will the pistons/crank/accessory bracket ect swap onto an lt1? Next question, If i buy some bare trickflow heads off summit that need 2.02/1.60 valves, can i rebuild the lt1 heads using everything off my sbc heads? I have aluminum PBM heads now on my 383. I have more questions, but these are the most important ones, thanks!

Accessory brackets won't fit.
Not sure if the Trickflow or PBM heads need special parts. If not, then your parts should fit.
