1990 v6 to v8
Thanks in advance for any help or insight give on this.
I pulled the v6 out of my kiddos 90 camaro and installed a v8 from her wrecked 91 camaro. Everything is working, Thanks to pocket for the help on the vss and the buffer box wiring!!!!
The only issue I have is that the car cuts out or off for just a second when under power when on the road? It runs fine in the driveway in gear (automatic) or in nuetral, revs good, you can load the motor ie power brake it till it spins the tires. But driving it will intermitenly cut out, tach drops and feels like you turned the key off?? New plugs wires, cap and rotor, ingnition module and fuel filter. Any ideas, I have checked all the grounds and everything seems to be in order. Have i missed something in c-100 or any other connectors?

I would check for bare wire somewere? maby something is shorting out onto metal? seems your only having the problem while in motion, maby a bare wire is shifting and hitting metal.
