ok guys i have a 86 trans am with a 305 tpi..... In storage i have a freshly rebuilt 350 motor bored 030 over and i have a stealth ram intake with the fuel rails and holley throttle body that i bought off a fellow member off this forum the stealth ram is not on the new engine yet, my questions are what all do i need for this swap to go easy, what all do i need to upgrade being that im going from a 305 to a 355 and what all do i need in order to put the stealth ram on the new engine...... PLEASE HELP GUYS!!!

If i can get some good answers from you guys then i can start the swap this weekend.... all input will be greatly appreciated

 

you wont need anything. The 305 and 355 are physically the same size and all the parts are interchangeable. For the stealth ram your gannna need some new gaskets for the manifold idk the part number but you can look it up on jegs or something. if i were you when you have the motor out i would clean the engine bay so get some engine bay cleaner and a power washer, to clean it. I would also change motor and tranny mounts, as well as other general parts. I did the swap with a 350 it is easy. Just be careful not crush any lines or break any wires. Take your time and you will be fine!

 

well i know that i need a ecu prom from a 350 car and i know i need to upgrade from the stock 19lb to 22lb injecters, and change the knock sensor, but i also keep reading that when putting the stealth ram on that you need custom fuel lines, what exactly are they and how much do they cost,and is this a part that i can get from autozone??? never really swapped a intake before going to be getting alot of help from my mechanic father lol.....
