SURPRISE NEW PROJECT!

Just picked up an 84 trans am for $1000 bucks with 59000 original miles on it for my bro for his grad has an lg4 305 fresh paint no rusted floors..thank god haha only things it needs is an e beak cable breaks and a headlight motor...so here is the plan take out the tired 305and drop in the 350 thats sitting in the basement here are the specs on the 350
350 block # 3970010
11.7:1 compression
.060 over bore
.015 off deck
crank grind
con rods resized
TRW .060 flat top pistons
4 valve relief
Comp cam 268
Cloyes roller timing chain
Cylinder head reconditioning
melling oil pump
LT1 vavle springs
416 heads 1.94 int valve 1.5 ext valve with 10 hours of porting with concrete put in them (to keep heat away from the fuel dirt track guys know this)
PRW 350 7/16" 1.5 roller rockers
Edlebrock performer rpm intake
holley 850 cfm carb

sounds like a fun project, good luck!

i agree the 850 may be a little too big, the 750 sounds like a better choice for the setup. trans go makes a good trans kit, nice choice

Yeah that's what I got in my firebird l so it's gonna be the same choice for him and yeah like I said got the 850 Holley for free lol I could also down jet it a little if the 750 q-jet isnt pleasing enough lol
