Swapping 2.8 to 350 Transmission questions
I have an 85 Camaro, it had a 2.8 and a t5 in it. I am trying to put a 350 and 700r4 in it. I have found a few 700r4s but I'm kinda leery of buying one because I'm not sure what the tail shaft housing I need looks like for sure. I've been told i need one the torque arm will mount to. So i was wondering if any one had a picture of the right tail shaft housing or maybe some advice to properly identify it. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Only the F-bodies had the right tailhousing, so it's easy - if it came from an F-body, good, if not bad.

Found a pic - mount circled in red. Two long bolts go through the housing from driver side to pass side to hould the mount on. Red rubber is poly torque arm mount bushing.
