305 to 350 LT1 swap

I have an 82 305 crossfire injection camaro. i want to make it a 350 LT1. can i use the same block or am i pretty much screwed. I have the intake mainifold and heads from a 94 camaro. i need to know if i can use the block or not. PLEASE HELP

Gen II Heads have to be use on a Gen II Block. There is a process to modify Gen II Heads to work on a Gen I Block but it requires someone who is good with fabrication and welding. Do a search on LT1 Heads on Gen I Block.

Save yourself some headache and find an LT1 short block to put that stuff on.

you can find one for next to nothing if you know where to look. the lt1 swap is not as intimidating as they say. just look at the stickys and other swaps. plus it would be more worth it in the long run.

just try to find one with a newISH opti on it, that can set you back like 400$
