First, read the "V6 to V8 swap" sticky in the top section of this forum.
350, manual transmission, drag car - assume subframe connectors, and either a 9" or 12-bolt rear end from the aftermarket.
What manual transmission were you thinking of using?
Plan on having to upgrade the fuel delivery system.
How fast to you plan on going?

Re: 350 swap
Keep trying. We may have a few disadvantages compared to the same-years Mustangs, but we have some big advantages.
You'll find that a 305 to 350 swap is far easier than a 302 to 351W swap.
Our engine centerline is actually behind our front "axle" centerline, by a couple of inches.
We have much better aerodynamics.
We have the torque arm / panhard that all the Mustang guys spend hundreds to get.
Our floorpans aren't paper-thin.
Our gas tanks are in a much safer location.
Hydraulic clutch release beats the heck out of cable clutch release.
No stupid quad shocks to get rid of.
We can fit rear tires that are both taller and wider.
No need to invest in SN95 spindles, we've already got an even better front geometry.
Our cars were intended to have t-tops, right from the first blank page. So even the hard top cars are stronger for it.
Wider for better stability.
Lower, for reduced frontal area.
Longer, back to the aerodynamics again.
And all we lose is the 8.8" axle and the stock true dual exhaust.

don't forget to change the oil pan, will run E.P.P a couple times on the track then pull the motor for the summer
