hello TGO, i'm buying a camaro rs, not sure on the year yet, but it has a 305 tbi, but the motor has been sitting in the weather and not taken care of, i have a 350 and i was considerin just taking the heads and intake off of the 305 and putting them on the 350, if i were to do this would i have any problems from the computer? thanks TGO members

 

TBI 305 heads are the very worst SBC heads ever. They have the most choked intake ports, with a cross-sectional area even smaller than the TBI 350 heads.
I wouldn't use them.
Now, as for the success or failure of this plan, a lot of it will probably depend on what cam is in the 350.

 

well it's just gunna be temporary, until i can get some different heads and intake... maybe 3-8 weeks at the most
