Swapping the complete $th gen clip into a 3rd gen???
I have a 87 z28 i just bought a 99 Trans am ls1 car has anyone ever kust taken the front clip out and put it in a third gen? is it even possile? please give me some ides

anything is possible with a lot of work and effort. just bolting it on....no, not gonna happen. the 3rd and 4th gens are just too different to bolt the entire front clip. are you just wanting the LS1 motor in the 87? if so thats been done MANY times before with all the info for it in the lsx swap board.

thanks for the info. ya i've seen all the threads for the motor swap just wasnt sure bout the whole clip thought maybe the newer upgraded susp, and brake sys would help along with the notch thats already in the 4th gen for the ac

a lot of the parts will swap over, but some are just too diff to work.
