whats EGR?
I want to buy the budget stomper from jegs to replace my 305 in my 84 camaro but it says that the engine requires EGR idk what that means and if I have on the car or not can anyone help me out

Exhaust Gas Recirculation... and it says it doesn't have it, not that you need it.

Exactly, because the engine doesn't have EGR.
What they're saying is that you can't expect this to be emissions-legal in an application that originally had an EGR system.
