Bird dont runn right

I have a 1988 formula with the 5.7 and i have low comp in cylinders 6 and 5 and both numbers are the same 30 car runs ruff but when above 3000 rpm runs great anyone have ideas also have a 1970 350 block stroked to 355 how much would i have to do to install that motor. i mean with electrical i know cant run tpi on it so for fuel pump ect

You don't stroke a 350 to get it to 355. You bore the cylinders 0.030" over to clean up the cylinder walls, and that takes the true displacement to 355.

There is no particular reason you can't put TPI on it.

If your current 350 runs rough below 3000 RPMs, then there is probably something fairly simple that needs to be fixed. Even if it needs a complete rebuild, it is a superior engine to any 70's 350. If someone offered me an '88 350 needing a rebuild for my running '70 350, I'd take that trade in a heartbeat.
