how hard is it to swap a 454 into a 83 z28, i've never done a engine swap before, I want to do it myself good learing for me. I've got a 91 454 with rv cam edlebrock intake and carb with about 40,000 miles in my 75 el camino that im going to pull for the camaro. what will i need to do the swap?

The 454 mounts just like your 305, using your 305 mounts. You can use the transmission from the 305, but the 454 will break it, very soon.
