i didnt mean to start a thread for one question but i need a quick answer. i'm not ready to start by build thread yet as i'm still getting my parts. but i have an offer to trade my 186 camel hump heads 2.02-160 for a set of aluminum lt1 heads (10128374)

question, which set would be better for a turbo build? i have everything other then my rods and pistons then i'll be starting this build. please help. i can port match polish and bowl blend either set so thats no an issue.

LT1 heads are better if you have an LT1.

 

my block is an 80-85 block. thats was the #'s came back as. 4bolt main 2pc rear main seal. lt1 heads wont go on it?

 

Not without a bunch of welding to plug the coolant ports.
