How to hook up my gauges?

I bought my car as a roller. It had a 305 tpi motor, and the harness was hacked out, all the wires cut near the firewall. It there a way to hook up maybe some of my gauges? Water temp, oil pressure? Speedo? Or am I better off using autometer stuff?

Any idea why they cut the harness?

The factory routed the gauge wiring through the firewall in the driver side corner. If there is enough of the wire length left, you can splice into them. Otherwise, you can probably find an intact used harness to replace it.

There's enough wire there to splice into. Any idea which ones are which? Kid I got there car from jumped into this thinking he was making some
Race car with less knowledge than I have, started cutting and gutting, realized he was in over his head, and sold the car.

Re: How to hook up my gauges?

Lots of diagrams on this site. I used all of these when removing tpi, and all my gauges still work so they must be good! Ben
