TCI Flexplate

I have a 1992 camaro b4c.. I am swapping in a 383 stroker zero deck balance fully built. My question is i want to put all remaining parts high pro. So i was going to buy the flexplate for my car but they are asking if its outer balance or inner. Also how many teeth does it have? any help will be good

Is your engine is 1 pce or 2 pce RMS?
How was it balanced?
If you don't know ask the shop that built it because there are different ways of doing balance
If flexplate is 12 1/2" dia then 153 teeth.
If 14" then 168

Did you read what I wrote above!.

SBC flexplates come in the 2 sizes I mentioned;
which one do you have on your old engine?????
If you want to use the starter you already have, then 383 flexplate needs to match that.

If you are buying a new starter ( you don't say either way ) then doesn't matter
Starter will have to match new flexplate

3rd gen f-body V8's had 153-tooth from the factory.

Re: TCI Flexplate

Sorry Vetteoz i replied from an email so i only received part of it. But im trying to get more information with my builder as he said the engine was build at zero balance which at that point idk what is it. But if Five7kid is right with 153 then thats what i will go with. Thanks for the info

So you need a 153 tooth neutral balance flexplate.

Your problem now is which type engine you have;1 or 2 pce crank
because the 2 flexplate styles don't interchange
