5.0L to 5.7 1500 engine
So my iroc camaro is a 5.0 liter so I decided I want to swap it out for a 350 and got an engine out of a chevy 1500 1993 the engine came from I think its called rhinoengines but it has aless than 100 miles on it im gonna carberate it as well so any hints or tips/suggestions anyone can throw at me and what would be a good carb for high performance right now the engine is stock the camaro still needs the 5.0 pulled from it will the stock auto tranny be good?

Nothing wrong with using the truck motor, but you're going to lose power unless you switch out the heads/cam. You also lose the roller cam you had and you're stuck with a flat tappet cam unless you spend a decent amount of money converting it over.

Re: 5.0L to 5.7 1500 engine
I was worried more about the torque with the rear end rather than the horsepower and the 5.0 had 260k miles on it so I think a 10hp loss is worth the time I get to keep a new engine
