Engine: 2.8 V6
Transmission: TH200C
V6 and V8 Engine mounts.
I have read the previous post about the Engine mounts on the V6 and V8. They are mounted at different positions on the cross member. The question I have is are the mounts for the V6 and the V8 the same and only mounted at different positions on the cross member or are the mounts themselves physically different.

Re: V6 and V8 Engine mounts.
Very different. If you don't want the hassle, you can get mounts made for putting a SBC V8 into a 2WD S-10 built with a 2.8L V6. Not many do this, and it costs a good bit more.
