Fuel line fiitings/adapters question
Fuel line fiitings/adapters question
Tried looking locally and online...but not having luck identifying (by description) what fittings I need. Trying to plumb up the fuel in and return lines to a TPI engine. Have the OEM TPI fuel lines from the fuel rail down to the frame and want to use a fuel cell with 8 AN supply and return male fittings, to a filter (before or after pump), then Ford style inline pump and to the stock fuel lines.
The GM push/pull fittings work on the Ford pump...what are the description names of the fittings I need for the supply and return lines?
Thanks
Also: Looking at the Speedway catalog they have "push on" blue or black hose systems..anyone use the system?

GM fittings with the O ring are " METRIC O ring "
Confirm sizes ; supply line is 16mm , on early cars return is smaller (14mm )

Why so big if only using the factory (-6AN ) lines from the frame
Most would say run the new lines all the way to the rails and use this fitting there to adapt AN lines

Great for budget use , cheaper hose (still rated to similar operating psi ) and simpler install BUT;
once the hose is on the barb it will not come off short of using a box cutter
So measure twice / cut once

Thanks for the response...I suspect a bunch of folks didn't know the descriptions.
I'm good to go now, the reason I wanted 8 AN is because the fuel cell uses male 8 AN supply/return. The electric fuel pump is also 8 AN on the inlet side. Want to keep it 3/8" from the tank, through the filter and then to the pump...and have since identified the parts I need.
Thanks
