350 with 305 heads and LT4 cam?
Building up a Vortech 350 with 305 heads and was thinking LT4 cam with some roller rockers. Paired to a t5. Is that a ok combo?

Do you have to run the 305 heads? If they are small chambers, compression is gonna go up and it may be picky on gas octane. Probably need 93 oct all the time and be careful on timing.
I dont like 305 heads on 350's due to small valves. Usually get a 1.84" or so intake valve and thats abit small for a 350 since most get 1.94 valves.
Why not run vortec heads? you can find them for not to much money and they make loads more power than any 305 head.
LT4 regular cam or LT4 hotcam? Hotcam and vortec heads would be a nice budget combo for near 400 hp.

Cause I have them on hand. I was gonna do a port and polish. Vortecs require a special manifold.
