I currently have a 85 firebird with 2.8L engine in my car. A buddy of mine has a 84 trans am with a 305. His car was recently totaled and he is parting it out. He offered the engine to me since im always talking about doing a engine swap on my car. But im not really sure what would need to be changed. I know that my tranny wont bolt up to the 305 since it's a angled different but everything else i have no clue. Please someone help! Really wanna know if this will work.

I read threw it twice but it doesnt seem to cover that much on it. Im hoping someone on here has done it and can give me some pointers.

 

you need to bolt your clamshells to the V8 holes on the K member. get his tranny too... uhh... everything else it covered... what do you need to know???
