yes we have an 88 ta that originally had a 350 tpi. we took the motor and harness and computer out, and have finally swapped in a lq9. we have choose to make it carbd and run a msd6ls box. now i wanted to use the gauges in the car and not have to run switches and relays and stuff for misc things. i still wanted the ignition to work with the key so we took the tbi harness from my 91 rs and put it in the bay of his 88. i hooked up pretty much every power wire i needed.

i went to just try and turn the motor over with the key tonight and i got nothing. i dont have fuel or nothing hooked up yet i just wanted to see if i had power from key to starter.

what i need is to know if tpi bulkhead harness near the booster is the same pin outs as a tbi harness. or do i have to change wires around. pretty much no one here swaps from a 350 tpi to a 305 tbi harness so searching is hard..

 

Never mind I figured out there definately different. What do I do now though. I have nine wires total that I think I have to move. But they aren't the same color as the ones I'm matching to and there is one extra wire on this bulkhead engine side as there is for the interior side
