305/TPI to 350/TPI Swap

I have a lead on a 350/TPI engine and am not sure what to offer. He said it came out of a 91/92, hasnt heard it run, but it does rotate. Unsure of mileage. An older guy owned the car (Camaro), he passed away and the Title was not transferred...lost...not sure. His family opt'ed to part the car out rather than try to secure a title. He bought the engine from them as part of an estate sale.

I have an '89 T/A with a 305/TPI and am considering dropping in the 350/TPI.

The engine is complete with all accessories and ECM. No wiring harness.

Few questions.......

Will I need a wiring harness for this swap?
Vats? As long as I use my old VATS decoder I should be OK. right?
What would be a reasonable offer for a 350/TPI with the ECM and no wiring harness?

You already have a complete TPI setup ; all you are doing is swapping the engine underneath it so all you need is a 350 prom for your computer and a 350 knock sensor
You reuse everything already in the car, wiring , computer , etc
You only need the 350 engine ; nothing else, not even the intake if you are prepared to swap your intake onto the new engine
there is no difference between 305 and 350 parts ; only the tune ( on the prom ) in the computer and the KS

Excellent. Thats my plan. the engine I want to buy is a complete setup, all accessories too. I was just unsure if I needed a different harness for the 350 v/s my 305.

When they pulled the motor, they took the engine, tranny and ECM...no harness. I was just concerned because they didnt pull the VATS decoder from the doner.

It has been sitting in a garage floor for 3 years so I intend to open it up and replace all the gaskets and check the internals. Before I put it in, I will replace all the accessories with the ones from my 305...their known good.
