i don't wanna change the prom ..i know its possible to play with date without changing the prom ...a guy around here is doing it but i lost his phone number ...any cable from laptop to the connector available ..is it a easy software ??

 

play with date are you looking to just data log

 

data ..... sorry bad type ..i know its possible to change data or log call them how u want in the ecm withtout changing prom

 

sorry I don't understand what your asking You might try posting in the correct forum section to get help. If you are asking if you can just data log the ecm data stream you just need the appropriate program and cable. winaldl , tuner pro ect..

 

To change parameters with OBDI, you need to burn a new prom. OBDII allows you to change parameters by flashing the ECM.
