heater hoses

I am doing an engine swap now in my 91 RS. I am replacing the 305 with a Vortec 350. I am keeping the TBI and A/C but not the air pump, egr and cat. I want to clean up the engine bay and get rid of the extra hoses. Can I get away with two heater hoses? One to the heater core from the engine and the other one just running back to the rad? It has a pretty confusing set up of hoses now. I am hoping it is that simple. I still want there to be heat and A/C and the computer (EBL) to work rite and I defiantly don't want to hurt anything.
