You didnt get the hint from people putting chevy engines into the fords ?
Doing the other way around is stupid 99.99% of the time, with a ford 4.6 its stupid 199% of the time.

not really. these engines can last forever. my best friend has one with over 600k, so imangine the idel time. they have good power. last forever. parts are cheap. and are good on gas. my vic get about 26 highway. were as the 305 gets about 18. nothing stupid about it. and i didnt ask for ideas on how stupid it is.

Cool story, let us know how many hours you've wasted when you get it installed.
Like I already said, you asked if anyones seen it done, no, why because its stupid.
If you have to ask how to do it you probably arent able to do it.
Why is it stupid ? Because you'll spend more in conversion parts to get it in there than it would cost to get a 300HP engine that bolts right in.
There is nothing magical about the engine allowing it to live long, its simply maintenance, treat an sbc well and it will do it just the same.
