Are there any universal alternator brackets available for our motors, the reason I ask is th junkyard I got my v belt system from didn't send me all the parts I need for my alternator, and I can't find a bolt to use at the top for my alternator so I'm thinking about just getting a bracket from autozone to get my car up and going till I have the time to run to th junkyard to get the correct parts I need or the correct alternator .

 

Bump, I know alot of people don't like seeing this stuff done but its only a temp thing until I have the money to go get all the correct brackets I need and I really want to get this motor going.

 

GM used the same passenger-side alternator mount on all vehicles. What are you missing?

 

I have the top mount off an 87 firebird formula but they didn't give me the bolt spacer and aren't the v6 and v8 alternators different? I can't find a bolt to go through the top alternator bolt
