bbc rocker arm ratios ?

Im plan a 496 bbc and was wondering if there is any point to go from a 1.7 ratio to a 1.8? Its not being built for end all power but it will be built for low to mid range power. If you need any other info about the engine i will give it but i dont know what you would need and its a big list to give you every thing.
