Something different
I was bored, and pondering. Everyone has seen LSX and LT1, even LT4 swaps. What would be the reality of doing an LT5 swap. I know they only made those engines for 1 or 2 years so it would be a project for "the privileged few". I can't/won't do it. I was just curious if it is even possible to shoehorn one of these into our cars.
For those who dont know. this is an LT-5.

Re: Something different
The REALITY is, it's been done; "shoehorn" is an appropriate description.
A quick search of this forum will reveal a great deal of breathless spanking off about it, and not one single person who has ever even got as far as actually acquiring one of those old things.
Consider the cost, and the likelihood of finding that one little part that's missing or damaged, and you'll quickly see why it's not real popular.
