Speedometer question
Speedometer question
Hey all. I recently finished a 350 carb swap in my 89 rs camaro. I no longer have an ECM. I started her up after the swap and noticed that even though I had hooked up the mechanical cable for the speedometer, that it still wasn't working. I have searched through the forums alot and i hate asking questions that have already been asked, but I am very confused after reading through posts with similar problems. Mainly about the VSS.
I want to know if my 89 rs camaro was made with the VSS or the Buffer box. I am confused because i can't figure out if my camaro is fully mechanical or if the speedometer cable is sent to something that isn't getting power.
Thanks.
