8th character of the VIN:
F = 305 TPI
8 = 350 TPI
That only tells you what the factory put in the car, not what it has in it now.
Do you mean fenders match up?

Re: ok tbi to tpi can i get some help :)
I did what you are talking about about 2 years ago, I took a 92 305 tbi RS and put a 355TPI motor in it and maintined the T5, the motor (TPI) was out of a 87 IROC, so I found a speed density TPI set up for a 91 or 92 Z28/TA 5 speed, put the SD TPI on the 87 motor used the SD TPI harness and ECM plugged it in to bulkhead and 207 under the dash and it fired right up, the only thing I had to change was the speedo pinout on the bulkhead everything else worked fine! But the 87 harness will not work like that, there are alot of differences, too many. Find a speed density set up of buy one with the harness and ecm, that's the best and cheapest way, IMO.
