ECM and Wiring questions on L69 swap

Rundown on Car...

1992 RS w/ 305 TBI and T-5
Motor being swapped in = 1987 Monte Carlo SS L69 and keeping the T-5

List of mods being made are going to be a medium sized cam, slight port work (mabey), Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock Performer 650cfm Carb with electric choke, Shorty headers (1 3/4 primary) with Y-pipe into a full 3" exhaust and any various mods needed to work with the L69.

My question is what can I get rid of dealing with the electronics of the vehicle? Emissions are not an issue as this will be mainly a fun auto-x/drag/track car that will be seldom driven on the street and it will be registered in SC so know emissions testing.

I am looking for an old school, simple setup. No un-needed electronics. Any help would be appreciated guys. Threads I can't find, issues you may know, personal experiences, ect. Thank you in advance everyone!
