Engine: LB9 / looking for a bbc 396
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 both for now
TBI 305 to TPI 305 Help?
ok i have a 1991 RS and and 87 iroc parts car i have the SD harness for it already but i need to know more about the ECM could i just got to any parts store and get one for a Z28 and i also wanna put a cam and bigger injectors high pro oil pump etc would have to have it all programed?

could really use this help guys i more or less need to know if i go buy the ecm from "auto zone" can i use my same chip or does it come with a new one

You'll have to have a chip burned for it. New distributor, sensors, etc.

ok so the 87 sensors and distributor will not work i am pulling the whole engine and trany from the car and putting it in my 91 rs lol so i would think all that is there but i was reading some stuff that i think the knock sensors is diff but i dont no and ideas and ty for the help btw

I'm not entirely sure, but you may have to convert from a mechanical speedo and tach to electric, all of the info is on the boards here, it just takes some digging.
