Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

The in-tank type pump with a return type regulator is fine. However, if your pump is the stock factory V6 pump, it'll probably have trouble keeping up with the demands of the 377. A TPI pump, or aftermarket like Walbro 255, would fit the bill well.

Exactly what intake do you have? "High rise" means next to nothing. An Edelbrock Performer RPM would do well with the cam & heads.

Depending upon your primary use of the car, the stall might be a little low. If drag racing, you'd want more like 2800-3000. Assuming you could get any sort of traction, of course.

If he's changing the pump anyway, wouldn't it make sense to go to a low pressure pump instead of a high pressure TPI pump? This gives you more FPR options to get down to the ~6psi that the carb will need.
