Changing Vortec heads to ?

I currently have the 062 Vortec heads an Im wondering what head do you all prefer an keep cost in question. I can get Afr 195's but I want something that will flow better on a SR 383ci... Going with a Custom Small Base Camshaft from Cam Motion. Waiting for there grind with my Combo an E-Tec heads. That is a route but I would rather go with something other than Vortec. It's going to be something bigger than the XFI 280 or Tpis largest Hyd Roller cam an no more lope than a Lt4 hot cam but more hp than it. A set of Ca smog legal heads so I dont have problems with Test Only. And of course I have 1 3/4 headers an dual cats. Drop me some of your Links to view please. Im currently producing 389rwhp 442rwtq an we need to bring the hp. I know a cam can bring me to around 400rwhp. But I would like a Tad more. So will see in the near future about the cam.

If you switch from vortecs you'll also need to switch your intake.

Ya I know that.. My Vortec base covers that cost. I seen Stocks honed out.
I have an 88 I dont need center bolt heads or can I use the old style.

Dart Small Block Chevy Pro 1 Aluminum Heads. Do they have the correct mounting holes for Serpentine? 200cc intake 64cc. straight plug. But they cost as much as Afr's.. I think I answered my own question. Afr seems the best way to go.
