Not sure what to ask for my motor

My camaro just got totaled The motor and transmission, however, are still alright and I'm considering selling them. I just don't know what to ask for it. It's coming out of a '91. It's the 305 with about 116K miles. Automatic transmission. If anyone has any advice here it would be greatly appreciated.

You can probably get a couple/few hundred for the transmission.

Engine, scrape iron is about $50/ton. You can do the math. Might get a little more because engines have a little aluminum in them.

TPI or TBI? Could probably get something for a complete TPI system.

You guys back there are getting ripped on your scrap prices. On the coast we get nearly $200/ton for shredder.

Sell the engine and trans pullout on craigslist. If it's a TBI car you will get a couple hundred. TPI might get you close to five.
