2.8l to 305 tpi swap
Hi I am swapping out my 2.8 in my 88 Camaro for a 305 tpi. the power steering pump went bad on the the v6 so I figured why even bother spending money on a v6 that has a valve tap as well. I ended up buying a freshly rebuilt 305 tpi with l98 heads and a comp cam in it with a rebuilt 700r4 that has a b&m shift kit in it. I did a lot of research on here in the sticky threads about the swap and am completing this swap at the vocational high school I attend. I have two very smart teachers that will be helping me out with this, one was a gm tech through the 80s and 90s and knows these cars and engines inside and out. The engine came with a wire harness, ecm, brackets with alternator, power steering pump, and ac compressor. my purchase also included the plenum with fuel rail and all 8 injectors, the piping to connect the plenum to the intake holes on the engine. I just bought a new starter and water pump for the engine and am making progress on test fitting everything on the engine engine. so all in all I have a pretty good grasp on everything except a few things. I am not sure if any modifications will need to be made to the engine mounts, I am not sure about my fuel pump, and I am not sure how to program the ecm to the new cam, I have the cam card with all the specs on it. if anyone could help me out with these questions and can offer some useful information I would greatly appreciate it. I only get an hour a day to work on the car so anything that could speed up the swap would be awesome.

You can't without specialized equipment.
Usual way is to get a custom tune done by one of the many online tuners
Note ,
not all cams are compatible with the computers used for EFI
post the cam specs up
