NEED HELP with wiring and other stuff for my swap
I have a 1988 Camaro rs that had a 2.8 v6. I bought a 92 rusty Camaro with a blown trans for parts and its 350. can someone please give me advice on switching wiring harnesses. is every wire under the hood considered the ecm wiring? or are there separate harnesses under the hood? also I want to delete my ac and cruise control (looking for a really clean engine bay). if anyone could give me some tips on taking out everything i don't need from those two things. and also any pointers on painting engine bay? any response or guidance to a specific thread would help a lot. i searched for about 2 hours and couldn't find anything specific to my problems.

There are two harnesses in the engine bay. The ECM is one and the Chassis Harness is the other. The chassis harness will have the ignition, starter, temp gauge, and other dash and power leads in it.
Remove the whole ECM harness from the 92 including the relay and the junction blocks.
Here's a link to some schematics that can be helpful. Also it might be helpful to get a GM service manual for an 88 Camaro.
