hey how good would this bbc run in my 1986 camaro
I have 454 030 over 4.25 stroke 6.35 rods probe pistions com soild cam 590 .598 lift 0.50 242 252 extrem comp cam 781 oval ports heades 2.19 1.88 vavles and they have been worked pp dual plane intake crosswind proystsem 986 carb with hooker 2226 headers how much hp do you guys think would have and what would it run like in a 1/4 mile IT HAS about 10-1 final compression . thanks. tommy

 

It would run just as good as any other BBC build. It all depends on the quality of the build and how well the parts are matched. Based on the parts you have listed, probably in the mid to high 10's.

 

Sounds like you're building a race engine. So, why that choice of intake? A single plane (and I'd take an Edelbrock or Holley over Professional Products any day) would probably do you better.

Transmission?
Rear end?
Tires?

If all of those are "stock", I'd say 14's.

I have a built turbo 350 trans and tou torque convert built for around 3500 to 3800 stall rearend is 9" ford need help for gear ratios not for sure what to gear it and tires not sure what I need thank for the reply .
