84 camaro LT1 Swap help
84 Camaro had a 305 carb with 700r4..swapping a 94 LT1 out of a buick roadmaster with the 4L60e trans...need alot of help but I'll start off with where I'm currently..Ive read alot about people saying they used the stock 305 mounts(clamshells)..I ordered the moroso solid mounts for my car and I cant get everything to line up..my problem is for whatever reason my engine and tranny are sitting crooked..tailstock is hitting passanger side of tunnel..did i put mounts in incorrectly..I have ac bypass pulley on eng already..i put mounts on car in the stock 305 location and I put the mounts on the eng in the stock buick location..need some advice here so I can get out and have some fun before it snows again here in wisconsin

Re: 84 camaro LT1 Swap help

Re: 84 camaro LT1 Swap help
No. You can use solid mounts. Likely you have one side mounted too far back. there are two sets of mounting holes on the k member.
